The story of ZIP Decor and the two brands it stands behind.

How it started

ZIPCushions started with one question from our founder: why should a well-made cushion be hard to find, or priced out of reach? The answer was to stop working from size charts. Each cushion is built to the customer's own measurements, in fabrics made for real use, with a zippered cover so the fabric can be refreshed later.

ZIPCovers grew out of a customer's question. If the same made-to-measure approach could produce the perfect cushion, why couldn't it protect the furniture around it? We asked ourselves "why not?" and built a second brand to answer it.

ZIP Decor is the group that brings the two together. One brand handles comfort and the other handles protection. They share one team and one standard.

Bench, banquette, window seat, sofa and non-standard shapes. Covers in rectangular, round, oval, L and U-shaped, pyramid and wedge forms. Each is built to the dimensions you send.

Materials chosen for the setting

Sunbrella®, Agora®, Blue Sky and Sunbrella® Horizon outdoors, and velvet, chenille, linen and bouclé indoors. Covers come in two grades: ZIP Armor (18 oz) for year-round exposure and ZIP Shield (12 oz) for seasonal use.

Built the way you use it

Foam matched to the use.

High-density foam for daily use, dry-fast foam for high-moisture outdoor settings, and fibre fill for plush backs and pillows. Dacron wrap and anti-skid backing on request.

Full cushions. Or covers only.

Removable, YKK-zippered construction lets you refresh the fabric without replacing the foam core.

Single units to full properties.

There is no minimum order. Large and recurring orders go to a dedicated project rep for a quote tailored to your volume and fabric mix.
